My family's been in Toronto for the past week and may be stuck here for up to 5 years-We're from the US and came to Canada to have our visas stamped but my dad made a mistake when answering a question about a 10-year old misdemeanor and now we're in 99.9% danger of being denied reentry. My brother is a US citizen and 7 years old and we've already sent in letters from my dad's employee and boss saying how they need him. If we are denied reentry, what are our options? Is it permanent and are we allowed to send in one member of the family to pack our things? Please help!

THIS **** has to stop! Contact a friend who can connect with your congress member or, at least make a lot of noise through the media. Use your brother as a "sacred cow" bargaining chip.

pay attention to mom. i'm specific the different 2 mean properly, yet of course they haven't any concept what superior parole surely is. there is not any reason to deny you get entry to once you come returned, until you rob a economic enterprise or some thing in case you're back domicile. yet like mom says, do not pass away the US with out it. in case you do, you will not come again in and formally, you will possibly have ended your immigration case, which might then be closed.

I am more than sure the rest of the family can travel, and your father did not make a mistake in answering, he made the mistake in not letting them know about this criminal past in the first place. Tough break. I do however feel sorry for the kids who have a lying father.

Oh no! This sounds awful, but also very complicated. I think your family really needs to see an immigration lawyer. Good luck :(

I tried emailing you, but it says your email is not registered. Email me and I'll see what I can come up with. I've talked to some immigration officers about it.
