Recently I ordered some prescription drugs and was sent the wrong drug. The company didn't want me to ship the drugs back - they just sent me the right drug. So I have 20 pills of a drug that neither my wife or I will use but many other people might. What should I do with it? Is there anyway to get it to someone who needs it? Thanks

No hospitals etc can't use drugs that has been sent in error as they don't know for definite if they have been tampered with, take them to your pharmacy and they will destroy them safely, never chuck them out you never know when you put your rubbish out for collecting if the bag might split and a child find them

No, because A) legally no company or store will take it because it could have been tampered with. B) Medicine should be prescribed for an individual person's needs. This includes dose, strength, and other various factors. I would dispose of it.

This is quite interesting. You think like I do find someone who could use it.

I know when my Mom died and she had at lot of meds. Hospice counted everything and flushed it all. It is sad..

Whatever you decide to do...don't flush them, I don't think you want them in your water supply and don't throw them away..anyone could get them if they were "dumpster diving". Call your local pharmacy and see if they can take them and destroy them, or if they can point you to somewhere that can.

Flush them down the toilet. Do not throw them away (chemical hazard).

The safest thing is probably to throw it away.
