I've been smokeing for 15 yrs & stoped about 2 weeks ago. the problem is my lips are dark almost purple from smokeing for many years. is there any why to get it back to normal or aleast fix the problem...

See a doctor. That sounds more like cancer than tar.

Thats not normal! I've been smoking 15 years and don't have any stains on my mouth i dont think at all it's from smoking! There sounds like you might have something else going on! See a doctor about it i think he would have more useful advice.

Uh, that is more serious than tar...you might want to get to your doctor ASAP. Purple tissue is never a good thing...and tar doesn't usually stain lips, fingers and teeth. I'm glad you quit though...good for you.

Congrats on quiting! I quit five months ago! I use Crest White Strips! They are great. My teeth are white and healthy. Make sure you follow the directions and use them twice a day and you should get you pearly whites back soon.
