get a spray bottle, put 3/4 peroxide and 1/4 water, pref warm water. Saturate your hair and wait about 15 minutes. Dry with a hair dryer, and you will notice a difference, if you want lighter, just repeat, but not more than twice a day.
Please do a deep conditioning mask on your hair afterwards. This will keep your hair from breaking and becomming to dry.
Good luck, also if you get some peroxide spray on your skin, it will turn that area white, but as soon as you wash it off, it will return to normal color.

I'm a stylist and your best bet is to get into a salon. It's not that expensive to have a few highlights put in. Messing around with chemicals can really damage your hair. Costing you more to correct it.
