generally speaking, any time spent alone together is romantic, however as you get older you`ll find that camping is rubbish and often a direct route to rowsville and split up city, especially if its cold and wet.

Even a single moment, hour or evening can be romantic so I don't think time is a problem factor. I'm not sure if camping is the most romantic activity though, especially at this time of year and also because it involves potential getting cold/ wet/ muddy. It depends on the other person though, if they like doing outdoorsy things they'll love it, and being snuggled up on your own in a tent far away from everything could be very romantic!

I think it can be EXTREMELY romantic... but I love the outdoors. I am into hiking, rock climbing, swimming. I'm assunming you mean tent camping rather than using a trailer or camper.

Most campgrounds don't afford you the type of privacy you want from a real romantic excursion... but, generally, where you can get the privacy you might be after, you won't find facilities like hot showers, etc... but that's just another opportunity, if you ask me. Bathing in a stream is an excuse to skinny dip... and if you're comfortable being nude, its an excuse to be as naked as you like for as long as you like... I'm a little too shy for a nude beach but I love being nude outdoors... and if that isn't gonna spark romance, I really don't know what will.

Any time spent together, even 5 minutes, can be made romantic if you so wish and make it so. So, yes, a weekend is more than enough time for romance.

I just can't imagine what could be romantic about sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag and having to go off with a spade whenever you need the toilet.

If anyone suggested such torture to me I'd go right off them!
