What is the Difference between DVD and MiniDV Camcorders? Which is better?

Here is the difference:

DVD Camcorder:

The video which you shoot will be recorded directly to a DVD disc which you inserted to the camcorder. Once done, you can view the video in any DVD player with the DVD disc.

MidiDV Camcorder:
--------------------------
The video which you shoot will be recorded to a Casette (Tape) in digital or analog format (depends on the Camcorder model).
If you want to write to a DVD to play in any DVD player, then you need to connect your camcorder to a PC and then download your recordings to the PC. Then using the DVD writer you need to write the downloaded videos to a DVD disc.

Which is better?

It differs to person to person based on your usage.
I personally feel DVD Camcorder is better.
But DVD camcorder is costlier than MiniDV.

Well ya I guess in the ability where you play the MiniDVD because most of everyhting is running of DVD.
