When someone is walking around the house my dog likes to follow you around and constantly bump her nose on your leg over and over. Then when she is out side with my other dog she likes to poke her nose on the other dogs head like playing tag, but will do it repeatdly. How can I get her to stop???

When she pokes my other dog(who is little) she gets pushed pretty hard, which must be pretty annoying when the little dog is trying to go to the bathroom, and when she does it to people's legs she won't stop and she causes some people to trip.

One of my Shelties pokes me in the back of my knee when I walk through the house. I'm sure it has to do with his "herding" instinct. Perhaps your dog is from the herding breeds group and is just doing what comes naturally.

As far as poking the other dog with her nose, that can be a form of play. Mine do that to each other when they are encouraging the other dog to romp with them.

As long as she's not hurting anyone (or herself), I would just leave her be :)

firmly come up to her and say no! Hopefully she knows what the meaning of no is, and she will sense the frustration in your voice and just stop because it makes you unhappy, but I don't get why its a big problem, like, she's not hurting anybody so I dont get it, she's just very curious
