well, they say that it happened. Right after they meet the lion and they go to skip off you can see someone swinging by a rope in the background. MGM said that it was actually a stage hand that got his foot caught on the rope and fell. But, who knows- it could be a cover-up

It's actully a bird, they borrowed a lot of birds from a zoo, and if you look at the picture thinking its a bird, you can tell.
