I just turned 15 and i really want to be able to "date" like group dates but my over bearing mother won't let me b/c she treats me like a child. Any advice to prove my responsibility??

Your mother is probably just worried about you because she loves you and dating can be dangerous in this day and age. You have to sit down and talk (NOT YELL, OR CRY) with her and hopefully you 2 can come up with something that is agreeable to the both of you. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love to give you advice, but I haven't a clue as to how you act at home.
I based my daughters dateing on her attitude, and things she did or didn't do in the home.
IF she was mouthy, heck no, she wasn't going anywhere! If she was disrespectful, not going! If her chores weren't done........not going! Grades not up to par.........no not going!
SIMPLE things my dear show us mom's your responsible!!
If your keeping your mind on school and your grades show it, if you do chores and get them done without a fight, if you act responsible, then you need to have a long talk with her. Point out all that you do do. Point out things you feel you have been showing your responsibilites.
Maybe mom is affraid of letting her little girl grow up.
Do you have a dad that can help witht the talk too?

Respect her decision. It won't be too much longer before she'll let you date. I think you can prove you're responsible and mature by accepting to wait until your mom says its okay. If you go behind her back, then that proves you're not mature enough yet.

If you want to go out ask her if it is okay and then ask her what time does SHE want you to be home. Then be home 5 minutes before that time, everytime. Do this a lot and help out around the house a lot. Specifically asking what you can do. Show her that you want to help and that you can mulit-task and listen.

walk the walk.
start doing your work before she needs to remind you. start being reponsible by looking out for yourself and be what your mom wants you to be.
also girl talk wont hurt. and appreciate your mother love while she's there and giving it to you...
