ok, i am in my 20s and i am friends w/ a guy in his 50s that likes me.. im sure of it. he flirts, has called my house, cellphone, makes it an effort to say and do things to show me he is interested. anyways, due to all of the attention i developed a small crush on him.. i also got tired of all of the "games" and flirting so i told him that we should stay away from each other.. well i saw him the other day and we resumed our friendship, and he was willing to be my friend again , even though i was the one who initially wanted to part friendship w/ him. now when he sees me he is reserved and he acts really weird. like you can tell that he likes me still but he is trying to hide it and the other day when i was about to leave the mall(thats where i saw him) he ran out and followed me from the store we were in, ran thru the parking lot, past about 100 cars to get to me... just to tell me that i had forgotten something that he could have given to his sister to give to me later(she lives by me)

Girl, go out with guys your own age. Dating older men is always complicated...and ALWAYS come with baggage (which is the LAST thing you want). Go out with other guys who can give you love, support, and understanding and who are not playing these little games. Don't let his "niceness" get in the way of your decision. That's only a trick to make you doubt and fall for him. Older men are full of tricks (I know a lot of younger men are full of them too, but please, don't compare 20 or more years of knowledge that these older men have).

There are young guys out there that really want a relationship (not just sex) and it would be awesome for you to find one. Go out, have fun, meet people, and forget about older men.

Of course he's changed; he thinks you told him you're not interested in him.

There is no way a guy in his 50's is "just friends" with a girl in her 20's. He wants to be around you, but he's waiting for some sign or signal from you that you're interested. So the ball's in your court sister.

In fact, it sounds like that's what happened the first time. I think he's actually trying to be somewhat of a gentleman and he may be concerned that dating someone over twice your age would be wierd to you.

So it's up to you. You're now the "game player" here, because you're the one who reinitiated the relationship. So if you're that starved for attention, you can continue to hold out hope for him, or cut him loose if you're not going to pursue anything.

Creepy.

Well the guy definatly digs you, he's probably afraid that making his feelings clear will drive you away, either he's wised up and he's decided it's better to have you in his life as a friend or he's trying to get close to you by being friendly before trying his luck.

I think he likes you and wants to be more than friends. He's only going to get hurt. Tell him you can't be friend anymore.

I f you do not like this guy you need to be clear to him that you do not like him. If you do you are a little different.
