Okay, let me tell you how I relate to this scripture.
I'm a mom, a wife, a friend, a college student, I work in an industrial setting, I've been a secretary, and I've worked in support for professional and executives.
When I talk with an entry level employee I may talk very different and conduct myself very different than when I'm around a high level executive.
In other words, I need to know how to relate to all different types of people. How I would conduct myself in a 4 star restaurant is very different than how I would conduct myself at Chuck E Cheese!

Paul is the worst thing that happened to the new religion of christianity. If you guys would throw out his teachings you might have something worth while and that others would respect a bit more. To be all things to all people is impossible...even for God apparently, as there are many who do not believe at all.

We become all things to reach all people. To the critical spirit it may look ungodly, but it is the Lords direction. One time the Holy Spirit directed a new Christian into a bar. Where he obeyed God, not sure if he was right. The Holy Spirit fell on him in the bar & those in there were slain in the spirit (fell down).
There was someone or ones in there that needed God.

I FIND THAT SOME.... That do not Know what the WORD OF GOD SAYS, - "often make up things" - as was done in this supposed Question?
(1Corinthians 9:19-to-23) For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
(1Co 9:20) And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
(1Co 9:21) To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
(1Co 9:22) To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
(1Co 9:23) And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
PERHAPS YOU COULD READ IT FOR YOURSELF, AND THEN TELL US = WHAT YOU THINK PAUL WAS SPEAKING ABOUT? ? ?
We would ALL be glad to address your Honest Question THEN!
"A thought or pretext taken out of CONTEXT is usually 'a pretext for error!"
Thanks, RR

He was not popular with many that's for sure. He tried to not be an offense himself but would never compromise the offense of the cross.
