I heard god was jealous and didn't want to see any other gods in front of him. So they probably grew up together and went their seperate ways. Thats where the question comes from. What do you think?

If we are talking about the Bible when we are talking about God, and I would assume we are, because I see the Bible verse that you used, then you're question is about more than one aspect of God.

The verse about God being a jealous God, and wanting no god's before him is one of the 10 commandments, in the old testament.

About God growing up, that would be Jesus in the New Testament, because he is the only one of the Blessed Trinity that took human form. And yes, I think he would have a very hard childhood, being born poor and in a manger. And of course, different than those around him. If you take it all in the literal sense.

All of that would be just the Christian version of the higher power, and there are many other interpretations in many other cultures.

Almighty YHWH Elohim, the Self Existing One, Is the Beginning, No one or nothing comes before Him, He created everything. His first creation was Wisdom (which was called The Word). Thru Wisdom (Word) Proverbs 8:22-31, He created all the things. Even the angels were created thru Him. Among His creations, one name Lucifer, a cherubbim (Angel of Light) became proud and wanted to become like YHWH Elohim being serve and worship by angels. He convinced other angels (lower than him) to stage a coup but they were defeated and cast out (1/3 of the angels population) from their home. Then Yahweh created man. Lucifer now saw man's vunerability. He bombarded man with evil thoughts and stir a desire for man to want, to become intelligent and become like Yahweh. Man disobeyed his Creator and sinned. Man and his wife were cast out from the garden of Eden. Man populated the Earth. But still Lucifer who now called Satan (The Accuser of Man) continue his quest or his desire to be serve and worship. He travel to many places and show his power to people, thus the beginning of different gods but are all the doings of Satan. So, in short YHWH Elohim does not want His people to bow down or serve these gods for they are the making of Satan. But you know, the worse part here is that Satan changed his tactics, from deceiving people to worship false god, which don't work any more, to a new concept, bombarding Men of thoughts, telling them that there is no YHWH Elohim, and Satan already convinced these people to that belief. If you cannot see YHWH Elohim right now at this instant does not mean He does not exist. How about you, can you see your brain right now at this instant?

He has self esteem issues. He doesn't want us worshiping any other gods, because he wants all of our time.
Once, I was just -talking- to Shiva, and God comes up and starts yelling at me. It was so embarrassing.

You are talking absurdity. God always was, and He always will be, and there were no such thing as kids, before he created mankind.
