well, i can only speak through my own experiences.
Growing up, i never had money. Each day i was un sure wether i d come home from school to a home or not or to food or not.
Then, going back to school, the kids who were well off, would be wearing "cool" clothes and geting all the girls cause they had car's and could buy them things and take them to nice places.
Meanwhile they would make fun of someone like me.
Spoiled by there parents, i would hear how they would crash cars while being stupid behind the wheel, yet there parents would buy them another one .
I do not judge all rich folk. Yet i do not look to those whom act spoiled an do not appreciate even a peice of bread.
yet i do look and adore those (rich or not) if they show kindness and non-judgement.
my first thought, when i meet someone or talk to someone is not "are they rich?" , but " are they a kind spirit or not?"
some people who are poor have also treated me just as bad as some of the rich.
so there is no class of people that are more kinder then the other, all people are relfecting who They are, not how much or how little money they have.
for example, rich folk might be scared of poor people thinking they are mean etc. (as poor think of rich) , yet i grew up poor (still am poor) and i am not mean, nor have i ever even hit anyone .
respect is my golden rule. those who do not return respect, i walk away from in silence.

That's because of there influence on government issues and laws against the common people. After they made their wealth with the common people they then use their influence to condemn the common people. The worker is treated as property and the rich invest in ways to re cope the money they paid their workers and in turn have free or near free labor, they know to live in a society they set up for them will cost them nearly all they make insuring they will continue to have the labor force needed to feed their needs. The rich are still slave owners, its just that slavery has changed. The workers need to stop working and starve the rich that way we would rid ourselves of the slave owners.
So you think it's compassionate of the rich, like casinos to pay their employees minimum wage that real compassionate. Socialism is the answer, to make laws that no one can be wealthier than the next. I could write all day on this subject.

Just like in any other categorization -some are, some aren't.
For some reason we expect rich people to give away all their money. If they don't they are considered selfish.
I think some rich people are trying to buy their way in to heaven and buy public approval by publicly giving to some charities. That and getting a big tax write off.

If the wealthy are sharing the wealth, and donating money to good causes, I don't have a problem with them for the most part. I just get really annoyed when the "fabulously wealthy" spend ridiculous and obscene amounts of money on something they could get for so much cheaper. (One example is spending thousands of dollars on a purse.) All that money could be used to help so many people in need!

It has become SECOND NATURE for people TO STEREOTYPE certain categorical situations, if only TO SUIT THEIR OWN AGENDA at the time, by exaggerating their personal claims and GENERALIZATIONS in spewing out their sweeping statements.
Happens all the time, especially in this hotly debatable forum here.
And they believe that having such a petulant, malicious HATRED gives them the LICENSE TO HURT OTHERS in the process.
Peace be with you.

I don't know. It's that terrible. People have a right to think the way they do, but they are only hurting themselves with that narrowness.
I've heard it is good to get to know rich people. Not to get anything from them. But to learn from them. They may be more than happy to give us some pointers.
Donald Trump thinks that way, I think. He has something, think it's a book. "Why we want you to be Rich".
It's supposed to be good to work for, or near the rich.
To become something different, first take on the ways of what you would like to become.

(James 2:5-to-10) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
(Jam 2:6) But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
(Jam 2:7) Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
(Jam 2:8) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
(Jam 2:9) But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
(Jam 2:10) For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Thanks, RR
