I love the name Michael and Timothy...however when I named my son Timothy Jared I had no idea they are exactly the same personality wise. Here is a link I think you will find interesting, the idea is to balance the good and bad personality traits of the first and last name, since that is just rediculous, I would balance the first and middle name.

A friend of mine found this site when she was pregnant, as she read she was intrigued enough to read up on the names of every person in our family, the accuracy was incredible....

NEO

Gender: Feminine & Masculine

Usage: African

Means "gift" in Tswana.

This name is different but not wierd and I think the boy would really appreciate the name's uniqueness and simplicity. So will his friends. As far as personality goes, this name is given to african boys who are genuinely beutiful and show great potential in the eyes of their village elder and spiritual leader. If you belive in etymology(the relationship between ppl and their names) then I think this is the safest and greatest way to go.
