I just got a new LCD TV and on Cable it looks great, but movies on my DVD player are dark?

i.e. dark scenes you can't make anything out? any solutions to this... thanks.. it's a fairly new DVD player... thanks

Go to your DVD players menu-From there you should be able to increase contrast.
Failing that, maybe a Better Interconnect cable between DVD Player and LCD Unit!

YOU CAN ADJUST YOUR TELEVISION TO THE BRIGHTNESS THAT YOU WANT. THERE IS USUALLY ABOUT THREE OR FOUR DIFFERENT SETTINGS. YOU CAN ALSO TRY THE MENU ON THE DVD PLAYER,IT ALSO HAS DIFFERENT SETTINGS.
