What does that mean to you, your family, and your associates?
Is it a spiritual occasion, or is it only a festive and merry period?
Is it a time to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ or not to be concerned about Christian norms?

Christmas means nothing to me.
Except maybe a chuckle as I watch all those people claiming to be christian in the midst of practicing traditions of non-christian origin.
Jesus wasn't born on December 25.
Jesus never asked us to commemerate his birthday.
For the first 200 years of Christianity, it was never done.
The best thing about christmas is December 26th.

For me? A day when family gets together, kind of like Thanksgiving.

For my family? For most of my family it is a Christian Holy day.

For my associates? That is all over the map.

For me its festive, no religious significance to the day what so ever.

Since I know it is not the Birthday of Jesus and I'm not a Christian I do not reflect on that meaning of it. Now Yule, that's a Holy day for me.

What does Christmas mean to me?

Even though most holidays are derived from the Paganism organization.... it does NOT take away the meaning Christians have put on Christmas.

We celebrate the Christmas season by showing respect to the King of kings, Lord of lords. Its like celebrating your own birthday, but to a greater level.

Years ago the world deemed Christmas to be the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (Immanual, God is with us).

Each sect of religion celebrates it in their own way. Christians make theirs public by the written word of God. They have plays that have the full scene of what took place.

20 years ago no one complained about Christmas and the season we have chosen to celebrate Jesus' birth. But, more and more are fulfilling the prophecy that is written.

This is a time to show loved ones, even strangers, the love of God. By giving gifts and sharing the Christmas story of the Bible with all who will hear.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Big deal. It's a pagan holiday. Jesus does not approve of Christmas.

I don't celebrate Christmas; I'm a Pagan. I do, however, celebrate Yule, the festival from which most of the traditions are derived.

I try to keep the focus on Jesus for me and my kids but it's really hard because my whole family is catholic and I'm non-denom. Christian. Plus they all think I'm crazy cuz I'm not catholic anymore so they tend to talk down to me. Nice. So I make Jesus a bday cake.
