As long as it's nothing dangerous, you should be able to keep it wrapped. I've done it and as long as they can x-ray it, you're fine.

You can wrap anything you want. They only tell you to leave it unwrapped so you don't become irate when they want to open it. I usually wrap mine but am fully prepared to unwrap it (I bring extra wrapping in case).

You can take the gift on board but you will have to unwrap it for obvious resions.

Comming home to Australia from Japan, I had wraped gifts that I had to take on the plane and show to Customs. All I had to do was un wrp it and I was fine!

properly terrorists continually discover a thank you to get a weapon on an airplane, which won't be able to be stopped, so which you will think of if each and every physique had a gun, they could merely shoot the terrorist themselves. properly they have not got very solid objective and could destroy a window, inflicting the airplane tension to be launch. Or, they could fire the gun interior the direction of the cockpit, killing the pilot and copilot, leaving no one to fly the airplane. If each and every physique had a gun, it may merely advise extra opportunities to deliver the airplane down. even with the undeniable fact that, i think of the group could all carry weapons and be experienced in employing them, that way there will be no flight attendant held against his/her will. i'm hoping all that's clever, ha ha.

There is a good chance they will make you unwrap it. They may not make you but there is a good enough chance that they will that I wouldn't risk wrapping it beforehand. Which sucks... I hate all the inconvenience
