regular henna and hot oil treatments
dont use too many heated appliances when styling your hair and always use a heat defence product.
have regular hair cuts (every 6-8 weeks) and ask you hairdresser for advice.
i will get technical.
your hairs cuticles (the outer layer of your hair shaft) are open so it feels rough and it probably is a bit dull.
you need to close the cuticles as this will smooth the hair so it will feel soft and look shiny.

The best product I've ever come across to tame my thick frizzy hair is a french product called Phytologie. I would use the Phytojoba shampoo (leaving the shampoo in for two mins) rinse thoroughly and then apply Phytosesame. I leave this in over night at the weekends and rinse out in the morning or you could leave in for a good hour. Rinse thoroughly and I guarantee your hair will be gorgeous. It helps to weigh the hair down a bit too making it silky smooth and SO shiny! You can get the products from good hair salons or John Lewis. :-)

frizzy hair lacks moisture and with the weather cooling off its most likely to get worse with static.
getting smooth silky hair requires a very good hair care regimen:
start with smoothing shampoo and conditioner- matrix sleek or redken smooth down work well
next you will need at least 2 to 3 styling products
matrix extreme straightening cream or arosci 7 day straightening lotion before you blow dry ( don't apply to scalp can make it look greasy)
next you want to blow dry with a heat protectant- matrix sleek iron smoother works very well gives alot of shine and most important protects from the heat of the flat iron

use a good moisturising shampoo and conditioner and let it dry naturally once in a while. Blow drying and straightening all the time drys your hair out.
