I use a large baking sheet (12"x18") with approximately 1" sides, and place a stainless steel cooling rack of the same size directly on the baking sheet. The sides of the baking sheet prevent the cooling rack from slipping off and the grease from dripping out. I place the bacon directly on the rack and bake it in the oven according to the time and temperature printed on the bacon packaging. (Look closely at the packaging and you'll see several different methods of cooking.) The bacon stays relatively straight (no curling) and all of the fat drips to the pan below! The bacon is wonderfully crisp, not very greasy, and the best I've ever had. I'll never cook bacon another way!

i lay out the bacon on a sheet pan and bake it in a convection oven at 350 for 14 minutes.
a convection oven is 50 degrees hotter than a regular oven so try your oven at 375 and check it after about 12 minutes because i don't know how you like your bacon, chewy or crisp. keep adding a minute or 2 until your bacon is done to how you like it.

ALSO put the bacon on parchment paper

Use a slotted grill cover with a deep dish pan underneath otherwise you will have a grease fire in your home.
If any grease splatters in the oven ,there is a good chance it will catch on fire.
Same goes for the top of the stove especially on electric stoves.
When using a deep fryer caution is to be used also in deep frying chicken wings etc.
If you want to try and bake bacon in oven ,put the oven temp at 350 and keep an eye on it.
Hey Tony! I bet you tried stuffing a live pig in the micro wave also ! lol

Preheat your oven to 400F. Place your bacon on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven for about 10 minutes, then turn the bacon over for about another 10 or so. At this stage, it pays to watch it a bit. Drain on paper towels and enjoy your breakfast.

turn the oven onto 350
line a baking or sheet pan w/ parchment
separate the bacon into strips
place strips on parchment and bake
check at 9 miinutes for doneness
the nice thing about this method is that the bacon remains flat
This is also the method used in food service

Open the oven door, insert the bacon, close the door, put the oven on, shut if off when it's crispy and brown (not black, then you're too late).
Don't listen to the people who tell you to use 400 or 375 degrees, That's too high! I think 250 degrees celsius would be the MAX.

put in on a cookie sheet. bake at 350 for a few minutes. turn over the slices. baking it is an excellent way to get uniform crispiness.
watch out for the hot grease though. be very careful when taking it out of the oven

first you have to go to your nearest farm and buy a piglet. Bring him home, stuff him in your oven. Make sure to leave the oven cracked so he can breathe. Feed him until he is a mature adult.
That is how you "make" bacon. Next week we'll tell you how to cook it.
