No No - on the gallon size bag. It has to be a 1 quart size clear zip lock bag. Anything larger, and they will not accept it.

A few of the airports are now supplying them. But don't take a chance.

Like stated before, best to check the website of the airline for their policy. Each is different, and each has a different tolerance level. Normally 50 lbs per bag is the limit. If overweight, you can still check it if you want, but they charge you anywhere from $25 to $100 more. Normally they allow 2 checked bags per person, but some airlines will allow 3. Again, will charge more for each additional bag.

Pack smart. Weigh you bag on your household scale before you leave, to get an idea of what it weighs.

Have a safe trip.

I flew 2 weeks ago and will be again on Friday. You can bring 3 oz. or less of liquids, gels, lotions, or creams on the plane as long as they are in a gallon size clear plastic bag. You can't bring a lighter on board but coins are fine. If you go to the website of the airport you're flying out of, you should be able to find the rules but if not the TSA website has them all.

The links below have good info.
Make sure you dont have any liquids, gels, lotions, etc etc of size over 3 oz on your carry on luggage.
If you are checking in, then its fine. Put all those gels liquids over 3 oz in the check ins.
If its under 3 oz, then you have keep it with you, they will give you a plastic zip lock bags and you have to place those perfumes, or anything in those and clear the security check.
