hi...if you have just a normal 'sky' digibox, then maybe you need to do a software update for your digibox
to do this do this...
with everything on (tv & digibox), hold in the 'backup' button on your didgbox and while keeping it held in unplug your digibox, and then plug it back in...this will start the new software download for your sky digibox....this will take between 3-10 minutes.
after it is completed your digibox will go into standby...so start it again and it should work AOK.
hope this helps

I've had a a range of problems last week with sky. I was asked to do the following not by SKY but a qualified TV Engineer. Take the power lead out of the sky box for 30 mins and then read the manual about re-booting the system. then when you're ready to re-boot after 30mins re connect the power lead and follow the instructions to re-boot.
If this does not work and you've tried a range of things. I would strongly recommend that you call the technical help line on Monday during working hours and you won't get connected to India and you've get a good response. I was told that SKY was attempting to update the boxes but some boxes crashed. So they sent an engineer out to me and gave me a free service call and a new box.
I hope you get to watch your telly tonight, Heart Beat is great on a 42 inch

i'm afraid you are with a bad supplier. apparently it is £65 every time an engineer comes out to look at you sky box and every single person i know has had problems with their sky box when they haven't done anything and have to pay over and over to get a new box that still doesn't work, also i saw a watchdog bbc program with thousands and thousands of people saying they had the same problems as my friends, all of they have had more than 1 box some up to 15 in 1 year and they all have problems they haven't caused but still have to pay the £65. i think this is where sky makes the money and why it's relatively cheap to join.
i know this doesn't help u much but think about a new supplier

Try switching the sky box off at the wall and leave it for 10 mins then switch back on...this resets the box!! Good luck!

I'll tell you what not to do, don't phone "sky" it'll cost you a fortune and you won't understand a word they say, unless of course you're from the highlands/

It could be the weather conditions. I'm in Scotland and it's miserable - very windy and rainy. If it's very stormy or snowy, sometimes the signal can be affected.
