So can someone tell me ...

Why do you girls get all silly over (guy) celebrities ... i.e. singers/pop stars...?

I have never seen the pussycat dolls come onstage and GUYS start fainting all over the place, scream their heads off ..or get hysterical.

Why do girls do this ..?

If your boyfriend started getting all excited and acting stupid when Halle Berry or Angelina jolie was on tv ..would you slap him ..?

If so why is there this double standard when its Beckham, Brad Pitt or Robbie williams (for example) ...

.. and why do you guys let your girls get away with all that bull -sh11te hypocrisy ... whats good for the goose i say.

So ... can someone tell me why this happens ... even a woman who has grown out of this stupidity.

There is nothing wrong with fancying anyone .. but what exactly is the hysteria about..?

Dr Bad

judging from all the idiotic and juvenile fantasy sports posts -"who do i start blah blah blah" i would say that the ladies have nothing on the guys when it comes to inane timewasting drivel

Because it's pure fantasy.....hysteria or whatever label you want to put on it. I don't think theres much difference to when men are leering at page 3 girls or a girl in a short skirt walking down the street. It's a silly thing agreed but then we are so very different ......men and women.
Most women would run a mile if the fantasy were to become reality....but i'm not so sure about the men!!

rocking the boat again eh bad???...lol

girls have a double standard about this...they would have a problem with you ogling some scantily dressed wench and go off the deep end but its ok for them to go gaga over their own crushes...its because girls actually are more insecure about themselves and often quite vain too so everything is a throwback to how they feel...

a woman...a real woman...on the otherhand will not only acknowledge and enjoy her fancies in a cool and fun manner but will also embrace those of her partner in the same light...whats sauce for the goose indeed...

Cus not all woman like it like my fiancee will look at woman on the tv especially when showing alot of flesh if you know what i mean, and i dont like it. To be honest im a girl and ive been with my partner at least a 1 year and a half and i have not looked at any other guy since we started seeing each other.

So i feel if i cant why should he be allowd.

Those are girls then...not women.

I may have said, "oh! he is hot." but I won't go crazy over it. Even when I was younger, I never really did. I may have been more excited, but not like cry and screaming and all that.

Well to answer your questions: this is why there are differences between guys and girls. and this is one of them. Hormone, maybe?

FYI: When girls are crazy over guys, they are non sexual, but more kind of like he-is-cute kinda thing and that's it. But guys? when guys talk about how hot, say, angelina jolie is, more likely, they will also talk about her boobs or butts. That's why it's more of a big deal when guys express themselves and yes, if my BF does that, I would be a little irritated.

Its weird we are like mad cats on heat when a fit celeb is shown to us, put us in the same venue and we lose it completely! I think its a nature thing. You guys want to spread your dirty little seeds to as many women as possible, whereas us women want the best man there is, the alpha male. I think that this natural urge is strongest when we are teenagers, and then wears off a bit.

Because it is someone they can't have,so fantasy comes into play.No harm in it,let them do their thing.I on the other hand will still break into a sweat & faint when Bella Emberg is on the telly

As soon as I read your question, my mind turned to men at football matches.... not the same behaviour obviously, but mad, screaming, shouting..... the same hysteria but in a different way.

Enough said really........hmmm!

Hey, guys dont go hysterical they get freaked and become stalkers or keep pictures and silently get nude photos...that is worse...

At least if your girlfriend was like that you need not be afraid and still feel secure for her love, you know. Dont you feel releived she's not at least being secretely crazed without you knowing?

Appreciate this openness please... its their for a reason...

And girls are really passionate, kiss her and see...

Hmmmm, not sure to be honest. I guess women have an eye for things that look nice and look good maybe. Now, where's my George Clooney lifesize cardboard cut out that i nicked from the Supermarket the other day?............
