It probably isn't a problem, except that you should realize that canned dog food has much more fat than dry dog food has. Dry dog food is usually better for your dog than canned, it has better nutrition and helps clean their teeth.
If you want to spoil your dog a little, spend a little more money on the dry dog food and start giving him/her really nutritious dry dog food.
Here is an excerpt from ThePetCenter.com:
"Look at the ingredient list and a meat such as chicken should be listed as the first ingredient. Look at the guaranteed analysis to see that the protein level is at 30% or more. The fat content should be at 18% or more. And if there is a rather wide spectrum of ingredients such as omega fatty acids and Vitamin E, that's good, too. There should be NO FOOD COLORING! If you find a few diets that meet this criteria, and there are quite a few from which to choose, you just might have the confidence that you are feeding the best dog food you can get."

Caesar is a meal. Dogs do not see meals as breakfast, lunch or dinner, they only see what you put in front of them. I would recommend feeding one meal as a dry food, or mixing half and half. Feeding only wet food, espcailly with smaller dogs, can lead to dental problems. Dry dog foods, while they don't remove plaque, or tarter, tend to cause less build up in the first place. The force required to bite kibble helps keep their gums and teeth healthy.

I don't believe that dogs really care if it is breakfast or lunch or dinner they are just happy someone if feeding them lol. But if you are feeding canned dog food it is not good for there teeth ask your vet about it. I feed my dog canned dog food once in a while and i always mix it with dry food.

No, I think it's fine for a dog to have dinner food for breakfast! They pretty much eat the same thing all the time. And I've been known to eat fried chicken or pizza for breakfast...not that different.

Here's more info about the better brands of food (link below). I feed kibble and canned food and have kibble in my treat pouch too, mixed in with everything else. I also don't recommend this brand of food - there's a lot of bad stuff in there!
