Depends on whether the work is in the public or private sector.

In private industry the going rates for inexperienced graduate BS engineers would be $45-60K depending on school & grades.

Add 10% if any summer or coop jobs were pertinent to the major.

In the public sector i.e. government I doubt you can count on much more than $40K for an entry level engineering position.
