I don't suppose their are arguments, its just the facts. exercising and eating healthy will keep your body in the best shape.

Eat right, exercise, use a seat belt, wear a helmet (when on a bike), use condoms, brush your teeth, don't smoke, drink in moderation, do not take drugs other than what is prescribed by your doctor, drive safely, look both ways before crossing the street, get a pet (studies indicate that having pets lowers stress), etc. All that stuff that your parents told you when you were a kid. Arguments for are pretty much common sense.

OK, so you buy a car. You want to keep it in good condition so it will last a good while and run smoooothly. So you feed it good stuff (oil and gas), you clean it, change tires on occasion, do whatever maintenance is appropriate. It's your jewel. Meanwhile, you never see the dentist, you eat like a pig, don't exercise, smoke and drink yourself silly. Any questions?
