Been drinking at least 1 gallon of soda a day for yrs.(Diet-Pepsi) & I know that is dangerous. been trying to find a good alternative. I know! I know ! WATER!!!!. I do drink at least 1/2 Gallon of water aday also. But can't shake that Pepsi feeling. I was introduced to plain soda water & it does fullfill my desire for soda. But is 1/2 gallon or more any safer than Pepsi??

It won't hurt you at all. No calories, no sodium.

it's not harmful, and it's better for you than Pepsi. It's basically carbonated water- no sugar or additives. Make sure you're taking enough calcium, since carbonated drinks slow the absorption of calcium down. Even if you don't take extra calcium, you're still better off, because it does not have caffeine which also leeches calcium. Carbonated drinks may give you gas, but if you're switching from one drink to another, it's not going to make a difference.
So, to sum it up, it is safer than Pepsi.

I grew up on sletzer and I'm still drinking it. No salt in it and no calories. Don't drink the pepsi. Since pepsi can't take the paint off of your car, imagine what it's doing to your insides.

its alot better for you than pepsi, see the bottom website for nutrtion facts. i would try to start drinking juice over both of those things, not the highly sugary ones. get 100% fruit juice. then after you have done that for about a month,m try skim milk high in calcium no fat. finely switch to water! as you have already suggested for urself, best option there is, you will have clear skin and start losing weight if you drink that much water!

Club soda may be identical to plain carbonated water or it may contain a small amount of table salt, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, potassium sulfate, or disodium phosphate, depending on the bottler. These additives are included to emulate the slightly salty taste of homemade soda water.

Does it have sugar in it? If it doesnt, its better for you. A lot of people in europe prefer soda water to regular water.

I don't like that carbonated water stuff. I stick with Coke, and ice water throughout the day, after my morning cups of coffee, of course.
