you in all likelihood did not have an infection on your lymph nodes yet infections in different factors affecting your glandular equipment (top respiration an infection, sinus an infection, and so on . . . . ) could reason your lymph nodes to swell and/or grow to be something from tender to somewhat painful. in the experience that your lymph nodes harm and now are purely swollen that's in all likelihood a very good sign that the an infection is shifting out and the swelling will subside over the arriving days. Regardless, clever of you to have the blood attempt and not place self belief in yahoo solutions on your scientific suggestions however i know it helps to have suggestions and validation from others who've experienced similiar issues. Take care!

Without knowing more about the history of your illness, your personal medical history, and your family's history, it's impossible to figure this out; isolated lymphadenopathy can be caused by many different conditions and usually represents the activation of your immune system to fight some infection. It can also represent a hyperplastic disease--a disease where the cells in your lymph nodes are growing on their own accord.
You should schedule an appointment with your family practitioner for evaluation.

You can take some ibuprofen (advil) to make the swelling decrease for the moment since advil is gets rid of inflammation, but call the doctor to see what's going on. You can always call the ER to ask questions if it really bothers you.
