when you're heart says its right. i've approached this problem before and I dont think anyone can advise you as to when its over. Think of it two ways...does your heart say its over. thats point one. Then...is following your heart causing you a significant amount of physical and/or emotional pain/stress. Balance the two and weigh it out. In most cases you NEVER want to ignore your heart, but make sure its your heart speaking and not your head or your fear of loneliness etc.

I wish you the best in your decision....whatever you do, make sure that you do address these issues. If you let them slide then you will end up in a losing relationship

You sound confused. You can't want to break up but at the same time want to stay in the relationship. Everything happens for a reason, if he broke up with you there's probably a good reason why. He probably explained it to you so you should just move on and find someone that will accept you as you are.

When the relationship makes you more miserable than happy, when your needs are not being met, when your feelings are disregarded and/or insensitively commented about, when he says he is threw with it, the relationship needs to end. Do it. Have a good cry and move on.

it sounds like you answered your own question. this reads like you have been smothering this poor guy. I'm surprised he hasnt ran for the hills long time ago. it is definitely time to let go and move on.
