If you wanna take vitamines against cancer, decorate your forehead with a dot... if you wanna press little notes in a wall, wear a long beard...if you're male and you wanna wear a nice long dress....if you wanna renovate your church, wash your hands in fire, put a stone under a pillow, slaugter a lamb....if you wanna read hands till your blind, move your butt to the west....if you wanna say the same word for days and days...if you wanna point your hands towards the sky...if you wanna send your kids to war or be saved by a UFO...if you wanna sit on your knees untill they are blue...if you wanna wear a funny hat or predict the future...

I mean, all fine by me, really. But why save me? What's your urge in even trying that? Why feel the need to even do that?

Maybe they think they will get a greater reward for it.

I would like to point out that we do not want to be saved and most of us know all about this special little "deal" you have for us. In the "Shoot the atheist in the head" question asked about a half hour ago, the answer that wanted to save us got more thumbs down than the one that wanted to shoot us in the head. It says something when "being saved" is more disturbing to us than being shot in the head.

So I'll spare you the religious talk ..I'm sure you have had enough of that. But just ask yourself one question " If homosexuality( or any other act) was practiced by a majority of the world's population, would it bring about destruction or betterment ?"...with homosexuality it's pretty simple..if everyone on the planet suddenly turned lesbian/gay..it would be the end of the human race as we know it ! EDIT: 100 years ago, how many people openly talked about homosexuality ? not many, there was fear, people were afraid to come out and just say it.How do you know that the homosexual population is not growing ? There are still a handful of homosexuals who are too afriad to admit to it. Is it not true from common observation that there are more homosexuals now than there were 30-40 years ago ? Even if this was not that case , how do you know for sure that it will always be 10% ? The population of homsexuals is this world may grow smaller or larger, but that isn't the point. The point is, that homosexuality itself brings no benefit to mankind. This is not meant to offend anyone. Is it also not true that certain people have a predisposition to become alcoholics, drug addicts etc.Why then do people frown upon such acts but not on homosexuality ? 'Straight people' as you say, have opinions just like the homosexuals. Why can't we all just have opinions, isn't that our right ? We may think homosexuals are sinners, but we are not out to hurt them , I for one will do no such thing.

It is merely an outreach. I would like to know that you have accepted Christ into your life as an attonement for sin. If you decide not to accept Him, That is your choice, Not mine. But I would not even ask if you have accepted him, or show you the way to accept him. Unless I was led to believe That you wanted to know the way. Otherwise, we could have a wonderful friendship and go to the zoo together, Have long intelligent conversations about Life, The Universe and Everything.

In the end I will go my way and you will go yours. Neither of us any worse for wear.

But, in all reality, I would ask you about your faith, you would say you had none or that your faith was different than mine. I would ask you why you believed that way. You would tell me, and I would tell you about my faith.

Then you would get upset that I was trying "convert" you

Or you would ridicule my faith because you are a Vociferous Athiest.

And we would both walk away, Less than when we started all because no one respects anyone else anymore/.

People just haven't realised they can't 'save' people. I used to try and teach people when they were wrong, I still tell people when they're wrong but I don't hold out much hope of changing their mind. To be changed, you have to have an interest in changing, the right mindset is essential. For every one person you succeed in scaring into changing, thousands will not change, and it isn't worth it because those you scare aren't truly believing in your 'salvation', they are there of fear.

Hopefully one day people will just let it rest, along with all the hate. `Let he who is without sin cast the first stone`

First of all, Christians do not save. Jesus did that by dying on the cross. My question to you is why do you ask this question? If you really were truly happy with the way you are, you would not even have to ask this question.; We as Christians are told to share His love and His grace with others, but only the Holy Spirit can convict a heart that they need to be saved. You have a choice- it is your own decision. One other question- I don't know you, but what is your passion? What drives you? Whatever it is, don't you like sharing it with people you know and love- this is what we as Christians do, we are passionate for Christ, and as He does, we desire others to know Him too.

Maybe its a guilt thing and they get points for those they save and when they have enough they go to their form of heaven. This way they can be as hypocritical and sinful as they want.Save a few unbelievers you score more points.

Why spend the time posting this and telling others to not try and save you? What was the urge in that?

See the irony?

Because it is Gods will for no man to be lost. That's why Christians will not give up on talking to people about Jesus....but God did give us free will, that's why there are so many different religions and beliefs out there.

Because Christians believe they were given that message by God.

I have said many times that I feel Christians are not really trying to convince others, but they see their religion as very illogical, and are trying to convince themselves. ''The more who are with me makes it easier to confirm my religion''.

G-d is One. There is no G-d but G-d. And, in the end, he will gather in all the good of the earth, no matter what their religion is.
