he could be playing a trick or he could still have feelings for you. Buy him your love.

If he's your ex-boyfriend, just get him a card if you need to get anything at all. I wouldn't feel obligated to get a gift for an ex unless you have continued in a friendship relationship.

Tell him that was sweet but that he should be buying gifts for the new women in his life and/or his family and that while you appreciate the thought, he doesn't have to. Then, as a "just in case"...have a tin of homeade cookies ready in case he pops in with that gift anyhow. Hey! Ya never know! Good Luck.

You should be happy because he really cares about you to spend that much money on you. Guys dont just go buy girl who mean nothing to them exspensive things. He must have at least worked a week to buy what he bought for you and gave it a long thought because he wanted to get you something special that you would love and enjoy.

He probaby still has feelings for you if he got you a gift, unless you are really close friends. If this happens, and you don't have any feelings for him, get him something simple, like a shirt or pajama bottoms.

Get him something small that says you're thankful for his gesture. Something like a bag of cookies or chocolate will work.

don't get him anything. He's your ex and if he still wants you, you don't want to make it look like he still means anything to you (even if you do). Make it look like whether he does or doesn't means nothing to you.

You don't have to buy him anything. A gift is a present and you don't have to feel indebted to him.
