The chocolate would be gone pretty quickly and you would have none.

My answer comes from experience. My dog ate chocolate...70% dark chocolate...I had to rush her to the emergency vet at 2:00 in the morning. Her symptoms were vomiting, diahrea, tremors, and walking funny. She had to have 3 charcoal shots at $75 each and had to stay overnight at the vet with a IV to keep her hydrated. The total cost came to over $700 not to mention the cost to repair the damaged carpet from her vomiting. Had I not taken my dog to the vet in the amount of time that I did she would have had major nervous system damage and possibly even death.

Milk chocolate isn't as bad for dogs, and white chocolate can be fed safely to dogs. In fact, a lot of "chocolate" dog treats are made with white chocolate. Never let your dogs have access to dark or bakers chocolate...unless you feel the need to shell out $700 bucks towards vet bills.

I know people will say "oh nothing, my dog ate chocolate but hes fine"

However all chocolate, ESPECIALLY dark chocolate is NOT good for dogs. It is toxic. It can kill a dog, and those dogs who do not die from eating it still have the chance of having kidney damage from eating it.

If you purposly feed your dog chocolate you are abusing your dog. If he gets into it by accident and eats a considerable quantity then he must go to a vet.

My dog accidently got a hold of a bag of those mini foil wrapped easter eggs and ate the whole thing. He was sick for a couple of days, vomiting and pooping colored foil. The vet said to give him lots of water as he will get dehydrated. He is 14 now and doing fine!

one thing Chocolate is very toxic and can either kill the dog
or either can put him in a very dangerous place. If you dont
believe ask your vet.
That way they make dog treats that are more healthy for them
all the way around.

Maybe nothing maybe you will kill your dog.
Depends on the type of chocolate and the size and weight of your dog.
Maybe you should not have a dog.

I guess you want your dog to die. If you no longer want your dog, please find it a good home. There are lots of other people who will love it as it deserves.
