My guy freind likes piercings so I secretly got my bellybutton pierced, and now it's infected. I don't know if I should take it out or tell my mom. My guy freind's name is jacob.

I would suggest taking it out..letting it heal with some solution they make in piercing shops or at least dab it with some alcohol. Once it has healed up then go get it pierced by a professional if you still desire a piercing.Never pierce yourself..you have no idea what you are doing and may injure yourself or get a infection like this time.

You don't necessarily have to tell your mom about it. Just tell an adult. Maybe someone older might be able to help you. Don't worry about it too much, your infection will be fine..
Oh ya, and tell Jacob that he's a jerk for getting you into this mess.

Take it out, clean it with rubbling alcohol and see a doctor to make sure the infection doesn't get worse.

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL TO CLEAN IT!!! Belly button skin is different from the rest of you, alcohol will make it worse. get some Liquid Dial (the regular one) and clean the area. then go a dr to be sure it dosent get worse. you can also go back to the shop where you got it done they may have some tips for you.

is it pus-sy and reddish? don't worry too much. same thing happened when i was 15 and i'm still here, very much alive. see a doctor. if that's not an alternative, dab alcohol on the area thrice a day. the infection will cease when the wound dries. mind you though, nothing beats having your MD check it.

well you should not be a follower you should be a leader and if it hurs and is infected take it out you dont want it to get worse rub some alchol and warm water .

Tell your mom and go to the doctor. You need antibiotics to stop the infection.
Don't wait to tell your mom- you can die from infection.
And don't do things to impress guys. If they don't like you for your personality it won't work anyway.

If it is infected you need to see a doctor to get antibotics for it. Sounds like you need to suck it up and tell your mother about it.

Take it out, and put peroxide on it. Then put some neosporin on it.Keep alternating between the peroxide and neosporin. If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, tell your mom.
