No the pup will not get jealous, he will just assume the other dog has dominance over him and he would be right, just make sure you establish to the pup that you are more dominant than the other dog, so the pup doesnt think he can challenge you for the next best position in the pack.

Well first of all, why would you kennel a puppy but leave the older dog free to roam inside? The pup may not get jealous when he's that young, but when he gets older, he will get very jealous. You cant just get a puppy and leave it in a kennel except for agility practices. Treat your dogs fair!

If the puppy is young enough, I think that although he may not want to be kenneled, he will look to the older dog as kind of an authority figure and will realize it is "his territory" and adjust to it. Anything is an issue at first, but as they get used to it, he will (or should be) fine. I am sure once the little guy grows up, he may not need it but as a puppy, you have to. He will adjust and it will be fine.

You dont need to worry about him being jealous - it is part of the training and he has to learn to deal with it.

So even as ever they see absolutely everyone they bounce throughout them and are truly hyper as they're oftentimes kept in a small kennel with techniques from them self. also what the point of having a dogs in case you opt for to save it outdoors? dogs are mans perfect pal and love employer. I have a Lab and a Lhasa Apso and they stay interior the residing house (they have the finished run of the residing house) They sit down on the chair in the course of the day and on our lap, (even the Lab. Ha Ha) and sleep on the mattress at nighttime. dogs are like toddlers, we can provide them a good existence without spoiling them! i'm a dogs groomer and there is a woman who's equipped in including her bichon frise and it in elementary words drinks bottled water and has this is personal golf jacket, this dogs is so spoiled and elements us an fairly troublesome time. So the perfect suggestion i am going to grant you with is do not positioned your doggy out in a kennel! properly wish this enables. Sophie.

Dogs are not people - your new puppy will not get jealous because he's kenneled. He's never known freedom at his age, so since he doesn't know any different, he'll be fine. I'm assuming he'll get the same freedom your 7 year old has once he's older and reliable in the house. Don't worry -he'll be fine!

Ok, first off do you have 2 or 3 dogs? I had the same problem. Yes, the puppy will get jealous, BUT it needs to be done. Would you rather him be jealous or pee all over your house? He, will get jealous, BUT it has to be done as I said.
