Some credit cards do not credit an account after 3:00 pm on Saturday. If it is paid after that time, it is credited on the next business day, which is usually on Monday. I would call the credit card company and ask them about their policies. If they have a website, the information may be available on line. Most credit card companies don't report an account to the credit bureau as late until you go past 30 days. If they do charge your account a late fee, you may get them to remove it if you have always paid on time. I would make sure to make the payments earlier next time. Late fees can really add up.

Are you paying at the store or mailing it in? Call the number on the back of the card and ask. If you pay immediately (over the phone) then you should not be responsible for the late fee.

Usually it doesn't get posted until the following business day. However, since it's your first "offense", you can talk to customer svce & they may let it go this time.
