It depends on how early that the boy matures, maybe about 15-16.. During last 2years of high school or maybe after..

Hey, I assume that you are a parent. I started going out with girls 2 years ago when I was in 6th grade, and at first I didn't know how to handle it because I was so afraid that I'd mess up our relationship. However, since then, I have a few more girlfriends, and over my last two relationships I have really started to understand how to treat girls while dating. I would have to say that it's fine to date at any time so long as the guy is ready for it, unlike I was 2 years ago.

My mother fell in love with my father when she was 12. They have been married 49 years, now. (She didnt marry him til she was 18). My first real boyfriend was when I was in 7th grade. Im almost 40 now and I still remember him and think about him. You will know when you are ready. The fact that you are asking this question means you are probably ready! Good Luck!!

I would say 16 yrs old. At 16, a boy should have enough life experience to treat a girl nicely and to be respectful.

It depends on the age. School first. And make sure the girlfriend does not interfere with school. You really need education these days.

there is no right age to have a girlfriend because you can never tell at wat age do you fall in love, right? but since the question is when it is right to have a girlfriend, it depends on your maturity, but you have to remember maturity has nothing to do with age..if you think you're matured enough then it's for you to have a girlfriend

I think that a boy can start "dating" girls at about 15.
