Hi Graham

They range form 284 to 450. Some were as much as 500 but they are no longer made.

The different amounts and patterns of dimples make a difference in the flite of the ball, thats why there are different amounts.

Usually 300 to 450. The record for most dimples on a golf ball is 1,070.
