It's funny how we live in a country that you are free to worship whoever you want, but you aren't allowed to celebrate it publicly if you are the majority. If Christians and non-christians can't publicly celebrate Christmas, let's have NO religion celebrate anything publicly. That is the common sense solution right. But too bad Labour and people with half a brain are too politically correct and dont have enough plain common sense. By the way, Muslims are offended by everything, even lower case "t" offends them because it looks like a cross. If we facilitate every dislike and let it dictate our lives, we are not short from reverting back to medievalism. Can you imagine using the english language without the "t"? hink abou ha

English people should celebrate Christmas in any way they want after all it is England and not some other country.Dont listen to the weak sisters that preach that PC crap.If some one is offended so what then go back to where you came from and you wont be offended will you. That same old crap is going on here in the US and it needs to be stopped. The hell with how some immigrant feels about Christmas,Im not to thrilled with Ramadan or whatever either, but who cares.Im having my holiday any way I want and no ones going to stop me.You go England dont let the bastards wear you down.

I think its aload of crap. Christianity is one of the main religions in England! I heard in the news that one town had been banned from using Christmas lights. How pathetic is that?
It's tradition for England to celebrate it. I don't care whether a muslim or jewish person was born in england and they can't celebrate it, it's our history, if you don't like go get a citizenship somewhere else where you can't celebrate it.

first you need to stop letting just everyone in. second they have no right coming into your country trying to change anything. if they don't like it. they can go back to where they came from. 3rd they can learn to be around it until they are in the privacy of their own home. your government has no right giving into them. you had your laws before the immigrants started coming in. i'm from the good ol USA. and i feel the same way about my country.

i agree that people in england should be outraged by it. who do these foreigners think they are to move into another country and start dictating to the locals what they can and cannot say or do.

We have all these foreign people moving here and believing they are the only people who have the right to express and celebrate their religion, its a disgrace. I honestly believe these people who campaign against our celebrations should be publicly executed by hanging. This will show we are not so soft.

Who is asking you to change? You are free to do Christmas any way you choose - which for most people has nothing to do with religion anyway. What laws are being changed? How are immigrants dictating how the country is run? Last time I looked it was still a democracy, a crap one of course, but nothing new about that! And no-one I've spoken to is offended by Christmas. In fact people of other religions tend to have more respect for Christian traditions than most of the so-called Christians!
