According to Wikipedia
Most golf balls on sale today have about 300 - 450 dimples. There were a few balls having over 500 dimples before. The record holder was a ball with 1,070 dimples -- 414 larger ones (in four different sizes) and 656 pinhead-sized ones. All brands of balls, except one, have even-numbered dimples. The only odd-numbered ball on market is a ball with 333 dimples

Anywhere from 330 to 500 dimples - depending on which company designs the ball. The dimples help the ball travel further and higher.

The dimples in a golf ball has to do with spinning, of course, yet basically to reason transitions in drag on distinctive aspects of the ball. A ball with the edge spinning into the process flight could have much less drag on that edge and could curve in direction of the extreme drag edge (like throwing a curve ball). this might artwork on any floor, however the effectiveness in enormously dependant on the fee of the exterior. A golf ball leaves the club at over one hundred mph and spins at a number of thousand rpm so the relative speed of the spinning floor it lots bigger than maximum autos run. A golf ball correct hit will in reality bounce, or fly, and additionally pass farther.

they are all different but as an average there are 365, but it does depend on the make of ball and what you want it to do like distance and feel, spin and the rest. So there is no real answer to this because it will depend on what you want it to do and what make of ball it is. I hope this helps.
