I am considering arranging a private dinner party at either Seaham Hall or Matfen Hall. Does anyone have any expereince with either or both? If not any other suggestions for a very good restaurant with a private room large enough for 16-20 people in the Newcastle upon Tyne area?

Situated on the cosmopolitan Quayside with views of the River Tyne and its famous bridges, the Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is perfect for both business and pleasure with easy access for air, rail and road. Built around a glass atrium, the very best is made of the hotels location, bars restaurants and leisure club overlooking the river.

NEWCASTLE OPEN AS USUAL
Following the recent fire at a property near the hotel we can assure customers that the Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is open and business is as usual! However, because of fire damage, The Close entrance to the car park is closed and we would ask you to use the entrance on Forth Banks. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
