Not likely.
Most people claiming vaccinations cause autism put the blame on the mercury preservative (Thimerisol) in the vaccines cause autism, I'd like to point out that they stopped putting it in the vaccines (except the flu shots) in 2001. The older vaccines with thimerisol expired in early 2003.
YET the autism rate continues to rise!
I have heard of many cases where someone chooses to not vaccinate a child due to the autism scare & the child developes autism anyway.
It appears as though some children inherit a vunerability to autism and some outside trigger is needed for the child to develop autism. I sometimes suspect the high fevers that vaccinations can cause autism, if the child is at a certain stage in thier development.
I would recommend everyone to vaccinate thier children but to wait until you have to. I think the ages they recommend vacciations are to early. I also wonder if the potential side effects of the MMR vaccine outwiegh the risk of the 3 illnesses they protect them from. (Mumps, Measles & Ruebella are rarely life threatening)

i'm not confident the two way. There are compelling arguments on the two aspects AND compelling information for the two aspects. I even have chosen to get my babies vaccinated, whether, at a slower %.. Vaccinations could make a newborn unwell however. My son became into vaccinated with the Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis... vaccine and he became into unwell day after today. i did not think of something of it until he broke out with a bad case of eczema. We delivered him to an allergist because of the fact it became into theory that it must be an hypersensitive reaction and the finding out confirmed no hypersensitive reaction to food or atmosphere. some week and a nil.5 later the eczema purely cleared up by using itself. I asked the allergist if some thing interior the vaccination could have led to this and he mentioned genuinely. My son could have had a sensitivity to a minimum of a few thing interior the shot itself that led to the outbreak of eczema.
