Gingko (extract of the leaf of the Gingko Biloba tree) is widely used in Europe and Asia as a herbal remedy to improve memory and brain functions in elderly people. It can also have some benefits for people with arthery problems. You would have to take Gingko for several months to see any benefits for your memory and a single dose will most likely have no inpact whatsoever. Gingko has no known sideeffects.

Hello there, Pretty! If the "drag" your friend offered you truly was in fact Ginkgo Biloba, you do not have to worry about if it is healthy or not. It can help you increase certain mental powers, I have taken it before, it is a natural herbal supplement. I think it helps when I am teaching, and I want to be my most mentally alert. However, if you have any kind of allergic reaction, stop using it.

Most drugs have side effect. They just varry in degree. Don't just accept someone's recommendation when it concerns our health. You should ask a professional for that to be sure.
