Do you mean British slang or American slang? Maybe you can search on those key words. There are some funny books that point out the differences. Otherwise the Cambridge or Oxford
dictionary will give you info. for the Kings English. The American Collegiate will give you something closer to the American dialect.

I strongly recommend Oxford Advanced Learner's English Dictionary and Collins COBUILD Advanced Learner's English Dictionary.
Oxford lets you know which preposition should be associated with a particular verb, and a clean definition.
While Collins COBUILD have the meanings in the form ----(envious, for example)
"If you say someone is envious of sb or sth, you are saying ........"
