Something fun and casual like bowling, go karting or going to an amusement park or fair together. These are all great since they take the pressure off both of you to try to fill all the time with talking (like at a big restaurant - love those long awkward silences!), and you can just chat a bit, have fun, and get a idea of if you're attracted to each other enough to go on a second date where maybe you can talk and get to know each other more.

Well, this is one of the most interesting questions that I've seen in a while. The answer to this all depends on how the person is, what they like, what they like to do. All these types of things come into play.
Now then, you could do a picnic in the park, go to a movie & dinner, even just going for a nice walk & talking for a while would work. Things like that depend on how life is going for you & the person that you want to date.
You could also go over to there place & cook the family dinner, have them come to your place for dinner. You know just simple things.
When you are starting out, you should do something simple yet fun. You could go mini golfing, or Bowling, or just about any number of things really.
Hope this helps.
Good luck. :) :) :)

I would say first date dinner at a nice resturant and ice skating...most girls love ice skating...plus its romantic, but not too romantic. Just remember don't go for nething more then a hug on the first date...if she wants more then that then have fun, but you don't want to come off as overbearing.

Sorry, don't have time to answer immediately, so you'll have to wait. Next time don't be in such a hurry and use the spell check. You spelled immediately with two L's and it has only one.

Dinner. It gives you time to talk, and get to know each other.
Not alot of money? Try going to the mall and window shopping with her. You still get to talk, and you get to see some of the things she likes and is into.
