V can say that it is 5 times prayers ,, but,,, whatsoever a true Muslim does during the day it is counted as prayer. for example dealing with people, going to earn money, doing business, getting education,,,,,, even sleeping, eating, etc. That's why Islam is considered as the complete code of life. No other religion is able to guide its followers in such a detail.

Islam is a way of life.
The Qur'an and the Shari'ah Law delineate how should a muslim live his life. Apart from the five pillars of Islam, which include the testimony of faith, praying five times a day, giving in charity (the ones who are able to do so), keeping fast in ramadan, and going to Mecca for pilgirimage atleast once in a lifetime (those who can afford), a muslim follows the teachings of Islam in all matters of his life.
An adherent muslim is to supposed to be polite, tolerant, truthful, honest, remind himself of death, God fearing, trying to avoid sins, feeling remorse and asking forgiveness for his past sins, thankful to God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon him, trying to balance fear of God and hope, and always striving for more knowledge to further strengthen his belief.
I as an individual try to adhere to my faith. God has created man with some base desires which offer a challenge to him. They get enticed by worldly attractions further decorated by the Satan, and the muslim has to avoid them and move forward. A muslim is like a traveler, he knows that he doesn't have to stay here, his final destination is not this world, so like a traveller, he does see the things around him, but doesn't stay there and get interested in them to an extent which makes him forget that he has to reach his destination.

By praying to God 5 times a day. By thanking him Bismillah for everything we receive. By following the guidelines in Islam and doing nothing to bring a bad name to Islam, eg living in peace, being good neighbors, raising our children correctly. Simple really I personally could live no other way.
