its hard because we never forget that someone we truly loved ,the question is are u still holding on to this person because if u are u aint gonna forget him/her LET GO ,its hard but u can in your life if u know this guy is no good let go u only hurt your yourself from in side

If u want to forget him when ur still very much in love, there are probably two reasons for this. Either ur intellect says he isn't the person for you, or he doesn't ack ur love. Either way, i think if u have already made up ur mind to forget, its easy. Trust me.

Don't think about him. Seriously... I know it's difficult but you need to distract yourself. If you hear a song that reminds you of him, change the station. If you see a show on TV that you two used to watch, change the channel.
It also helps if you get out and spend a lot of time with friends. They'll help you get through it.

Take on a new challenge. Take a course in something. Volunteer to help with something important for others. Begin a major project. Once you are focused on other things, his memory will fade (as it should).
