Connection TV to Sky digibox is via HDMI not scart,but there is not a lot of difference from ordinary to HD pictures.

Why didn't you ask this q before buying? I would have stopped you from wasting money.

I have a 52" JVC. It is not all that great to have HD tv. It is all a hype. I also bought an expensive surround sound system. Other than watching DVD rentals, where it gives nice theatre like feel, it is just not worth it.

There you have it. I speak from experience. I swallow my pride everytime I turn it on. I spent it, can't do anything about it. My wifey is gonna kill me if she reads this. Hope she doesn't ...LOL.

Those who are reading this and thinking of buying - don't buy - hold off for just a little longer. Just keep to the regular TV. HD is not quite there yet.

I could have told you that, with my 42 inch HD tv there is no different in the picture as far as Im concerned its just another making money scheme

To get carry of an HD broadcast you may might want to get an HD receiver, so no, an aerial received't do the pastime. you may of route use your liquid crystal reveal television with an aerial, you only received't get carry of any HD proclaims.

Absolutely yes! Unfortunately for you plasma tv's just aren't very good. Check it out on a decent TV like the Sony Bravias. Amazing!

the truth on HD is the larger the screen the more you notice the difrence while you still see a difrence on a 42 inch it wil not be the ground breaking quality that come on a 60 inch plus TV

no it is defiently not what they tell us it is.

HD pauses every few seconds so even if the picture is clear you will get annoyed with the pausing.

Just stop at BEST BUY or something and just watch for a few seconds what Hd is and you will notice the pausing
