More festive, but not necessarily colder. Here in the Northeast, we've had some non-white Christmases that were pretty cold. On the other hand, you can get a nice, wet snowfall (the kind that sticks to all the branches of trees) around 36-38 degrees or so.

I wish we would have a white Christmas this year.

Well, due to laws of physics, the temperature actually goes up a bit while it snows. So its not as cold as one might think unless its very windy. A hat is a great idea by the way. Its deffinitly more festive. Its quite romantic when it snows and snowing during the holiday season just makes everything fall into place. Its going to be cold during the winter anyway,,, so why not enjoy the beautifulnes of the snow while your at it?

More festive,I think. I have never seen it snow at Christmas,I wish it would.
