Nope. There once was, but no longer. Our society has changed into a harem mentality: 10% of the guys are sleeping with 90% of the females. Read "The Garbage Generation" and you'll see just how deep this problem goes.

What a good question. I sure do! I think there are people we have to be with to do whatever we have to do and then I believe that there is the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE that fulfills the expectations of everything you ever wanted or needed in a person. A few find this the first time, a few never find it at all BUT IT IS REAL......

Maybe, if that's what people truly want. There's no one for me out there, but only because I don't care if I find one — in fact, I'd prefer it if I didn't. The closest thing I have to a soulmate is my gay best friend. He's practically the male version of me.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of asking this question myself. I like to believe there is someone for everyone. But many of us make the mistake of going for the wrong someone and missing the right one.
