You've probably already heard this... but you should really keep in consideration of each others feelings. Especially this other person. While it's nice and all trying to make them feel better. You need to be prepared to handle possible outcomes that might occur. It's a difficult decision but only you can decide. If you feel close to this person then go ahead and show away. Just prepare yourselves.
