I am generalizing so don't get too peeved! Most men need an objective. Tell your friend to approach the relationship like he's working for a promotion at work. He is working for a promotion on a personal level. Make a list of qualities that he feels good about and then showcase them. Does he have a good job? If yes he will be a good provider. Tell him not to buy flashy accessories or cars- women want to know the kids will have college funds not empty savings! Most importantly be yourself! Good luck.

The boy should be talking to the girl about this very matter! And between them, they should come up with a reason for continuing the relationship! If the girl is against it, or has objections for socio/economics family reasons, then it's quite obvious that she has no intention of continuing the relationship any further! And the boy then, knows exactly where he stands and he can terminate the relationship!

The boy might get some progress if he will show her what is special about the country warmth and the excitement of being in the rural areas.
I fell in love with the country...

Why would you continue to harass this poor girl who has honestly said let's be friends? She has made her feelings clear. If you really wanted to you could persist but I've got to say, she'll probably get sick of you not taking no for an answer.

the boy shud ask her out and then tell her indirectly about his feelings for the girl... and then ask her feelings too(indirectly)... if the girl has the same reply of just being frnds, then the boy shud ask the reason too(that too indirectly)...

sorry dude, nothing more serious from me than this...

well, i'd say ya'll gotta tell me if you're just dangling the string infront of my face. do you like me or not, girl?
and if she said she still doesn't like the boy, then i'd say well, ya got a sick sense o'humor there.
she needs to either get with him or leave him be. having him chase something he'll never catch is lame and a waste of their time.

Show her how country boys do it, and charm her with that western charm. I think city girls are kinda turned on by country boys in western wear.
